Kaylee Elizabeth Photography FAQ's

The FAQ

Do you Travel?

YES, YES, YES! Let's explore the world together. Wether you have a woodsy destination wedding, beach elopement or surprise engagement in the mountains, I am all for it. Just keep in mind travel fees will need to be included and I love to go over that with you more in detail!

How long have you been doing this?

I have been in business as a photographer for 8 years and I have been photographing weddings for 4 years!

How do we get our photos?

I will send you your gallery via online gallery link! You can share this link with all your family and friends, save your favorite photos, download your photos and so much more!

Whats your turn around time?

My turn around time for weddings is 8-10 weeks depending on the time of year. Due to the high demand, fall has a longer turn around time. You will get a sneak peek of about 40+ photos within 24 hours after your wedding day.
My turn around time for other sessions is within 2-3 weeks. You also get a sneak peek within 24 hours after your session for these as well.

How do we book you?

The best way to book with me is to text or call me at (636)387-8047, email at kayleeelizabethphotography@outlook.com Or you can message me on Facebook or instagram.

Can you help us with planning?

Yes of course! From assistance with outfits, to finding the perfect location to preferred vendors and so much more! I will be with you every step of the way. I am here to answer any questions, any time! If you are planning a wedding, I have a list of wedding planners that I would LOVE to share with you.

How far out do you book?

This is a hard question because it all depends on the time of year. During the fall seasons, I book up about 8 months to a year+ in advance! My advice to you is to just get in contact with me and I will do my very best to make sure we get you in!

What are the steps we take to book a wedding with you and what happens after we book?

Great questions!
1. Confirm date availability with me and send me your contact information such as your email and phone number.
2. I will send you a contact and invoice(with your $1,000 non refundable retainer) for you to pay and sign to lock in your date. Deposit is required for booking and non refundable.
3. We will schedule your complimentary engagement session.
4. I will send you a Wedding Day Questionnaire to help get a better picture of what your wedding day needs will be.
5. A month before the big day, full payment is due and you, your spouse and I will meet virtually to go over the wedding day questionnaire and your wedding day timeline to ensure a smooth and relaxing wedding day!

When Shopping for a wedding photographer, What questions should I ask?

1. Make sure you ask to see an example of a FULL wedding day gallery from your photographer. That way you have an idea what their work looks like from the getting ready photos to the reception.
2. Ask them if they do complimentary engagement photos. Every photographer is different and may not offer this service but it is sometimes helpful getting to know your photographer before the wedding day and get more comfortable in front of their camera!
3. It's not mandatory that photographers do this but it does provide a peace of mind. Ask how many camera bodies do they shoot on and are they dual slot camera. As long as they are shooting on at least two camera's, thats good. Dual slot cameras have two slots for memory cards just in case one of the memory cards fails, there is a back up memory card with all of your wedding day photos.
4. Ask them if they have any back up help if they were to be sick etc on your wedding day.

Are you LGBTQIA+ friendly?

YES! This is a safe space where you will be loved and supported by me every step of the way. Your pronouns and your wishes will all be respected. Love is love and I am soooo honored to be trusted by you.
